Seaweed Soup Bowl

It’s a medium size bowl which can be used for various drinks but is perfect for a comforting miso or seaweed soup.  
 
The bowl was created using a mix of local desert clay/dirt and clay mined in Southern California.  The desert clay was collected near St. Andrew's Abbey in Valyermo and contains a lot of small quartz rocks which is reflected in its aesthetic. Waterproof and tested for leaks. 
 
Glaze made from Pine and Oak ashes 
 
Hand build – pinch method.
 
Fired at cone 6 (2200 °F – 1204 °C) using my electric kiln.

Diameter: 4 inches – 10 cm
Height: 2.5 inches – 6.25 cm
Weight: 8.75 oz (254 gr)

Shipping Information: I use USPS Priority mail for shipping within the US and USPS Priority International mail for international customers. Packages usually go out three to seven business days from the day of purchase.
 
Priority mail takes two to five days to deliver in the US. International orders may take much longer to arrive.
 
Refunds will be offered if the item is damaged during shipment. Send me an email and photos clearly indicating the extent of damage to the box, packing materials, and item.
